So here is a quick tip to Really Boost Your Location Ranking and expand your proximity…
This is something your competition will very rarely do and it will give you an edge!… Use a rank tracker like Local Dominator (Free first month) and where you see the pins on the map that are not green, Click on them!
This will open up a box with the latitude and longitude:
Now click the ‘copy’ option next to the latitude and longitude coordinates…
Paste those latitude and longitude coordinates into Google and you should then see something like
Click on the map and you should see something like
Now click any of the button options at the top or click the ‘Nearby’ button on the left
Your pin is now locked!…
Now you can search for local GEO-relevant links, sponsorships, and partnerships in the areas you are not quite ranking for yet… This works best in cities and high-density areas…
Now that the pin is locked in that area, you want to search for teams like this:
Sports clubs (and also variations, like football, tennis, or whatever sport is popular in your area)
Organizations
Charities or charity organizations
Schools or universities
Networks
Newspapers
Journalists
Community groups
Just basically any search term that is hyper-local and close to the pin… Paste the local entity details from the website or Facebook page into a Google sheet and away you go… Just 4 or 5 of these types of links, mentions or shoutouts will make a big difference!
